Oh, very cool. Heh. I didn't pick the boss as Ianto until the third last para.

And yet all the clues were there! You are smoove.

Nice job. Good surprise at the end!

Ooohh... nice twist! I quite like this! :)

Well, yes. Of all the credulity-straining maneuvers around Jack's burial and resurrection, one of the ones I find hardest to believe is that he wakes up precisely when he does. A plus-or-minus-five-years margin of error seems a good deal more likely for early TW!

Very convincing picture of a future TW with Ianto at the helm, and a great handling of the alternate resurrection.

Very nice, though I think Una is gonna get written up for shooting Jack first and asking questions later. ;-)

You and this are made of win. Def. write more in this universe. Mostly because Una is a great cypher.

Jack would have to srsly make it up to him. I think Ianto should refuse to give up command, and then, out of spite for being a plain old team member again, Jack should sleep his way though everyone.

I can see it. Jack would look up at Ianto through the manhole and Ianto would just give him this placid face and slam it shut.

Jack: But it's cold down here!
Ianto: I'm sure you can find ways to keep yourself warm.
Jack: (looking up) Come on, can't we talk about this? (a blanket lands on his face)

Wait, wait, no.

Jack: But it's cold down here!
Ianto: It's not like hypothermia will kill you.
Jack: Yes, it will!
Ianto: Correction- It's not like hypothermia will kill you forever.

I don't think I commented on this before. But it's really, really awesome. Such a great twist!

This is great, I loved the POV of the original character. Also the tease that it could have been Gray at first.

I love cryo stories. The implications of this are really cool, because it could be a fork, or just a paradox that hasn't resolved yet.

Oooh, love this! Poor Jack.

I quite like this view of the future, though it makes me fear for Gwen. Ianto as head of Torchwood would be interesting -- and yes, very calm.

More of this would be awesome, yes.

Well, you got me, Twisty McTwisterson!! I was so certain this was a "Grey is unfrozen" fic that I almost skipped it, but decided to go ahead and read it, since it was short. You had me all the way!! Go you!!
