Well, yes. Of all the credulity-straining maneuvers around Jack's burial and resurrection, one of the ones I find hardest to believe is that he wakes up precisely when he does. A plus-or-minus-five-years margin of error seems a good deal more likely for early TW!

Very convincing picture of a future TW with Ianto at the helm, and a great handling of the alternate resurrection.

Jack would have to srsly make it up to him. I think Ianto should refuse to give up command, and then, out of spite for being a plain old team member again, Jack should sleep his way though everyone.

Ianto would make him sleep in the old Cold War barracks in the Hub. Then Jack would feel sorry for himself and start macking on to Ianto's team. So Ianto would make him sleep in his old hidey hole instead (while Ianto sits on the trapdoor).

I can see it. Jack would look up at Ianto through the manhole and Ianto would just give him this placid face and slam it shut.

Jack: But it's cold down here!
Ianto: I'm sure you can find ways to keep yourself warm.
Jack: (looking up) Come on, can't we talk about this? (a blanket lands on his face)

I think Ianto might even just shut Jack in the vaults for a bit while he figured out what to do with him. On the one hand, Jack's a bit insane because he'd expected to defrost in time to save the day. On the other hand, everyone else is dead and Ianto has been winging it alone for 7 years, so fuck you and your grief, Jack!

So there might be some angsting and power struggles before the pillow fights.
