*SNORT*

I am supposedly doing the dishes. So I have my macbook set up in the kitchen playing my iTunes library (yay for wireless networking) to give me entertainment while I scrub away.

But, well, I'm taking a break, okay? Back here, tooling about on my computer. And the music played for a little longer, and then it stopped for whatever reason (broken file, hidden track, who really cares?) and I, um, got distracted and sucked into reading fic.

And then, a noise from the kitchen. That sounds like... What? No! IT CAN'T BE. THE TARDIS IS LANDING IN MY KITCHEN WTF!!!11

Oh right, iTunes. Deciding to play an episode of Doctor Who out of the silence, an episode that just happens to begin with nothing but the VWORP VWORP of the TARDIS landing.

My day, it is officially made.

That made our day, too.

I once had a similar experience with the Star Trek "beam me up" noise at a friend's house, where the iTunes was on random. I swear, I thought I was going to see Spock and the away team full of redshirts, materializing in the family room.

I was mocked for years for that one.

I have my phone set to make the TARDIS sound whenever I get a message. And I get excited EVERY TIME!

The iPhone would have no coverage where I live, so I was sad that I couldn't get one. I shall envy iPhone users no longer!

Your iTunes loves you.

I *LOVE* that you are a Doctor Who fan. I used to feel like a social leper, and now all the cool kids like it too.
