Annual fic meme (2008 edition)
Oh man. I'm only doing this meme this year because I do it every year, but considering I've only posted one proper story, I'll leave most of the questions blank - so you can still yoink it if you want.
If I'd actually managed to get my Torchwood crackfic posted by the end of this year, it would be the answer to most of these questions anyway.
I should also note, though, that prob one of the reasons so little ficcing got done this year is because I was spending fannish energy on other things, namely helping to establish a new wiki.
Although, in fic-related achievements, I also got a lot of my stories archived on the Archive of Our Own! Still screwing my resolve up to archive all my old LOTR & Lotrips stuff there. It makes me cringe just to think about.
Also plus sides to my fannish 2008: I got into a couple of new fandoms, I watched a lot of very brilliant TV, I went to an extraordinarily fun con.
I'm not doing a personal 2008-in-review meme, but I think pretty much everything in my life this year, fannish, personal, professional and so forth, can be summed up thus: depression, exhilaration, chaos.
Come on, 2009!
ETA: And speaking of fic, omg SPN will never be left in my dust. Which is nice, I suppose? My popular pre-series fics posted in 2006 still get over twice as many hits as anything I've posted in the past 12 months.
