LJ puts line and para breaks in automatically :) If you're writing yourself a page in scratch from HTML, you'd need to enclose your paras in the 'p' tags or else it would all just run on.

But on LJ etc - nah, it automatically does it for you :)

I'm not sure about the asterisk/dash for actions. I don't know how screenreaders interpret them. Might look into it!
