Since the start of Feb, cupidsbow has been writing stories and meta and all kinds of shiny things, and damn, I wish I could have played (though I did squeeze that Suzie story out), but a new job and shaky housing situation has taken up all my mental energy, alas.

However. In poking through my "ideas for stories" docs in mind of writing something humourous for amand_r's help_haiti prompt, I came across this storytime exchange between Cathy and I that made me cackle in glee.

It's short but sweet.

Hope: i'm trying to think of another porn cliche that i can play the hell out of
Hope: maybe polymorphous!jack
Hope: where he follows through on all his suggestiveness
Hope: with pastries, kitchen appliances, etc
Cathy: noice
Hope: maybe even the whole jack-is-a-flirt,-but-only-REALLY-loves-ianto
Cathy: omg yes
Hope: and it can be about jack being in this spiral of polymorphousness
Hope: because he feels like that's how he courted ianto, so he has to keep it up
Hope: or ianto will be disappointed or something
Hope: and he *likes* it, yeah
Hope: but not as much as he just likes totally banal sex-with-ianto
Cathy: *hearts it*
Hope: and, you know,
Hope: it can take off all those booooring stories
Hope: where they have tab a in slot b fic, and you could change the names with any character ever
Hope: only it's MINDBLOWING
Hope: and jack cries
Hope: BUT IT WORKS
Cathy: oh, god, i'd give you a dollar for a story in which jack cries manly tears of joy
Hope: I WOULD HAPPILY DO IT FOR NOTHING

Man, I wish I could get my head around just how to write that. It would be AWESOME.
