I finally got around to scanning some prints from my latest batch - post-bushfire. 3 behind the cut. some adjustments of levels and hue/saturation to closer reflect what i envisaged when pressing the shutter release; before the changes made by the scanner!

These are very beautiful. The light and the colours is like eating small exotic desserts. Makes me miss having a propper camera.

I love my analogue camera. it's about 30 years old, my mum bought it when she was about 20-something, before older sister was born.

i also love fuji film. the prints look much better than the scans.

My SLR is a hand-me-down from my dad from when he was in his 20s also. It's only an Olympus OM1 with a bodgy old lens on it, but I'm very fond of it. It's light meter has gone nutso though and the cost of fixing is more than the value of the camera, so it's semi-retired.

Maybe you can show me the prints sometime.

I absolutely love the colour in the last one. The contrast between oh so sharp in the foreground and blurry trees in the background is so nice, too.

I shall! I am rather fond of all kinds of analogue camera - I need to take more shots with my Supersampler.

I didn't realise you were a camera geek too, omg yayes.

this is why i love analogue. the amazing colours thanks to the film; and the amazing depth of field thanks to the control and the lens. *happy sigh*
