I don't think I use all the features of Scrivener I could - I mainly like its typography, and the full-screen view. It's got more templates for different kinds of projects, now (novel, multi-part novel, short story, screenplay), and within those different document templates - so as well as a folder for "research", there's one for characters, and one for places, that each have useful templates for tracking the details of those things.
I just love playing with it anyway, so don't mind paying a wee bit for that upgrade. And if I didn't like it, I could pretty much keep using it just as I use it now without really noticing a difference.
