I love the story but why are casey and zeke always betrayed as gay lovers? I don't like that its kinda weird. and no one ever said they were gay. the real zeke would never be in love with a guy and even if he was why would he pick casey as his gay partner? casey is to dorky and nerdy for zeke.

Got to love anti-slashers on slash groups. Do they not read the warnings? Of course, I think anybody can be slashed if you put a little effort into it. Currently I've been sucked into the world of Sleepy Hollow slash, which is extremely hot. (I refuse to picture Christopher Walken as the Horseman...I just can't do it. *shudder*)

That's assuming Zeke isn't dorky and nerdy himself? Maybe it's just me, but in my private Fackletyverse, Zeke sees too much of himself in Casey, and that's where the attraction is- Zeke just ended up being taller/stronger and more able to fight back, and concealed his nerd tendencies (chemistry lab in the garage, hi) with a practiced public diffidence.

Oh yeah, well how about maybe...Zeke is too much of an arrogant oaf for Casey and like...maybe Casey is just what Zeke needs to make him into a better person. And how about, maybe beneath all of that arrogant oafishness, the REAL Zeke can see Casey's outrageously mind-boggling beauty and doesn't think of him as a "nerd" or "dork" at all, huh? How about THAT, huh? HUH!?!?

Ya know, sometimes I'm the one trying to stand up for someone else's point of view, even when it's 180 degrees from mine--such as the fans at Media this weekend who were NOT into slash and found that panels labelled as "slash-friendly" were in fact better described as "anti-het."

But I've seen this kind of stupidity before--someone on a discipline list flaming an author for a bondage fic--and I'm sorry, unpopular opinions I can defend, but total morons are on their own.
