Supernatural Fic Podcast - calling for submissions

I am currently looking for submissions for the pilot edition of the Supernatural Fic Podcast - that is, audio recordings of people reading Supernatural fanfiction stories aloud.

The community for the podcast is at [livejournal.com profile] spnfic_podcast. I've linked to the key posts (FAQ, how to submit, etc) in the userinfo.

The latest post is a more detailed call for submissions, with information on how to go about getting involved in the project, and where I see it going at this stage.

Suggestions and questions (and offers of help) are always welcome.

This project really relies on input from fandom, so if you're even the teensiest bit enthused at the prospect of listening to a SPN fic podcast, consider reading a story for it! The podcast will not be able to exist without submissions.

This entry has been cross-posted a bit. Please feel free to pimp out the community/project wherever you think appropriate.

Just a small ease-of-use suggestion; perhaps link to the authors noticeboard post from the readers noticeboard post? Just a link in the bit where you suggest readers browse through the authors comments, maybe?

I'm mic-less atm, but it's on the list of things to buy fairly soon(such things are useful when one's fiance lives interstate), so I'll pop my details up once I'm mic-enabled again. :)

You're welcome. :)

This is an awesome idea, btw. I've rather a soft-spot for audio-fic, because I have trouble reading long text onscreen, and I kill enough trees as it is with required reading for uni, so being able to pull off an audio file and listen to fic on the bus or whatever is awesome, for me. :)

Heh. There's definitely something awesome about listening to slash in public.

*crosses fingers and toes and stuff*

Because I am lazy and stuff and assorted crap, I reply here in response to your other comment: yes, I would love to participate, inasmuch as you would allow someone with an unintelligible Singaporean accent and a complete lack to dramatism to desecrate read the masterpieces of others. I suppose this means I ought to join the community, eh?
