hi! here's me, officially de-lurking. been loving the meta, the site and the funny comics. i also loved on the banks of the tiber - congrats on the award, it was well-deserved!!
anyway, i was gas-bagging with my sister niz4 last night and we were talking shop, as you do, and we were contemplating how cool it would be to have a fic-writer con right here in australia. and she mentioned that you're in melbourne - and um, hey, so am i!! well, outside melb, in castlemaine. and we observed together that you're a kinda go-getter girl (if you don't mind me saying), and we thought maybe you'd like to get heads together on this...(because, my god, life isn't already full to the brim)
so we'd really like to make it happen, maybe next year. and we've decided to start casting around for possible participants etc. interested?
excuse me for vaguely introducing myself, and then launching into a major public event, i hope you don't mind. if you want to chase up any of my stuff for a fic-reference, my archive is at goblok, although the SPN fic i've written won't go up there yet as i've put it up for the ontheroadzine...
