hokay! After reading responses to this post, I’ve created:

spn_goodwill

This community connects Supernatural fans looking to donate and raise money for charity.

Basically, authors, artists and vidders offer their services in exchange for a charitable donation.

There are a couple of ways to go about connecting authors/artists/vidders with potential donors:

- Requests - master post
If you're an artist/author/vidder wanting to browse requests that you might be able to fulfil, take a look at the comments on this post. If you want to signal your interest in becoming a donor, comment here to request what you want to pay for.

- Authors/Artists/Vidders - master post
If you're a donor wanting to request something of a particular fan-creator, browse here to see who's offered their services up. If you're an author/artist/vidder, comment here to signal your willingness to be contact by donors wanting to 'commission' you.

The Charities post is where you can browse the different charitable organisations that accept online donations. Feel free to comment if your favourite charity is not listed there.

Fan-creators are encouraged to post the results of the commission to this community. Please include relevant story header details, as well as who the commission is for. You may wish to list the charity the donation went to, but are not required to list the amount if you don't wish to do so.

Graphics are not my strongest point, so if you’re interested in helping out I wouldn’t mind:

- an icon for the community
- a pretty layout for the community (

And you know, any other suggestions you might have. I’ve just thrown it together quickly now, so as I said, layout etc needs tweaking. But, give me feedback on it if you have any suggestions or want to get involved somehow.

I am about to run out the door, now, but I think once it's prettied up a bit (and a few other people have jumped in to help) and I feel a bit more confident about it all running smoothly, I'll announce it around the other communities.

And I would be ever so pleased to make a layout. :) Do you have something in mind, or a style you'd like? Because otherwise I'd probably make everything greyscale and Smooth Sailing. ;) I can likely also make buttons/banners that match as well.

All I have in mind is something simple, probably with a sidebar navigation. Would like colour, but nothing that makes it hard to read (so, no light text on dark bg).

Hi! *is finally getting on to this*

I like the structure of the page, with the banner etc. I have a kind of tweaked version of that layout at

evp_voices, mainly so i can have clear subject headers and links on the side navigation.

But yup, I like it. Only with colour. And possibly slightly bigger/different font? and bigger line-height. and the non-caps hyperlinks.

alas, though, for I have takehome exams due Monday and Friday, and so I won't be around so much. That being said, procrastination is my friend and I'll see what I can do. When would you like to have something concrete?

There's no big hurry, do what you have to do :) Obviously before xmas would be awesome, but yup. Feel free to prioritise!!
