I LOVE DEADWOOD SO, SO MUCH.

I watched about 10 episodes of it today. Alas, I am up to episode 11 of season 3 and THERE DOES NOT SEEM TO BE ANY MORE OF IT HERE ON MY COMPUTER. I shall have to investigate where to find the last episode tomorrow.

But, can I just say, I fucking LOVE Ellsworth so damn much? I am sorely fuckin' tempted to write a story where Ellsworth's one of those characters that never dies, yaknow, just has to kind of relocate/reinvent every generation or so. 'Til Ellsworth ends up somewhere in South Dakota, running an auto salvage yard...

SORELY TEMPTED.

I have been watching DW for a while, now!! I had to take a break and not watch ANYTHING (bar SPN!) while I was thesising, though. So it's taken me this long to finish it :D

I've finished S2 a couple of weks back and can't bear to start s3 coz then it will all be over.

And I so desperately want Spn/deadwood xover fic. Possibly because I want to hear Dean and Sam say cunt and cocksucker all the time. And maybe coz I want to see Al and Dean snark it out. And possibly fuck.

Aaah! Yay! I thought I was alone in my quest for a Deadwood/SPN crossover. And not just because I want to hear Sam call someone a cocksucker, or see Dean in dusty, formal period wear before he goes out to do some killin' or whore fuckin'...but because I love both shows so much.

Ellsworth is so lovely and I was really gleeful when he showed up as Bobby, because there is a real connection between those characters as kind, competent, keep to oneself kind of guys who care deeply and when that care is tested - come out with guns blazing. The real sense of honor, I love that. He and Sol Star. And Trixie. And Al. Aaaah. :::misses them:::

I just cannot believe it is over. The two movies are so not gonna be enough.

Jim Beaver also posts a lot on newsgroups. I've been trying work up the nerve and the reason to harass him for SPN stories, but that would really be rather apropos of nothing since I'm not a newsgrouper. Hmmm.
