Can anyone recommend me a download manager that lets me set the time I want the download to begin?

I would like to make the most of my off-peak download time (1am-8am). So, ideally, I'd like to set the download to begin at 1am (and possibly pause at 8am), and still allow me to go to bed at 11 :)

Bonus if it's a firefox extension.

I recommend Free Download Manager" (http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/). It integrates into Firefox, though it's not technically an extension, and lets you schedule your downloads.

We use Flashget (http://www.flashget.com/en/download.htm), with the FlashGot (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/220) extension for Firefox. We use it for just that purpose - to make the most of off-peak time. Usually we have it set up to begin downloading at 2 PM and finish at 7 AM; it also shuts down the computer when you're done.

Another vote for this option.

Also, if you are downloading torrents, µTorrent is a great program, duplicating the functionality of the above option.
