Is it just me, or does anyone else find it kind of creepy and unsavoury that Jared Padalecki shoots Sandy McCoy & causes her gruesome, gratuitous death in that episode?
I mean, yes I know they're ACTORS and all, but. I'm somewhat disturbed.
dude I'm disturbed anytime one of the guys shoots women and kills them without any sign of remorse. :( but yeah it's kind of odd seeing that scene knowing that's his real life girlfriend.
What I thought the casting of Sandy did, was add weight to the death of a possessed person that we haven't really felt until now. I mean possessed people, from YED through to those in M7 adn then in Sin City were killed, but I didn't really feel the emotional imapct of their death. By casting Sandy in this role, the subtext of the real relationship here made me feel the enormity of what Sam did.
i think it had that kind of impact, too. and i don't really care how she got the job - it's not like they're ever fantastic roles or scripts or actors (the demons, generally. . . there are exceptions). oh, spn, you really suck at the feminism.
