I had to look up who Jason Nesmith was and I am still none the wiser!

Clearly my Justin Long knowledge is severely lacking!

Heh. Nesmith's the name of Tim Allen's character (the William Shatner/James Kirk analogue) in Galaxy Quest. Note his and Brandon's matching grey NSEA uniforms above.

As a Trekkie in a former life, I am overly-familiar with these kind of things. :p

Oh DUH. I knew it was familiar, but I was totally puzzled when wikipedia said nesmith is a wrestler.

The first time I saw Galaxy Quest i was too young to understand parody. I think it really has influenced just how much of it stuck with me from that first time *g*
