ETA: yes, I have heard it's very buggy too. But I'm keen to support the whole open source movement and try and achieve the world record download. But I won't install Firefox 3 until there's a more stable release.

I'm scared to ! Lots of reports of glitches with it, esp with add-ons.

I have not installed mine yet, just downloaded it. As it's done through the usual download function - i.e. it doesn't automatically upgrade you when you download it.

So I figure: I can download and add to the world record tally and still wait for the bugs to be cleaned up before I get the better version and install it :)

It's so shiny! It almost makes me feel like I have a Mac instead of a PC. (Okay, I know that's just weird.) I haven't noticed any bugs yet but I'm sure they'll be fixed pretty quickly. This isn't Windows Vista, right? ;)

Firefox 2.14 (or whatever version that was) kept CRASHING and CRASHING and if I had more than two tabs open, CRASHING.

Firefox 3 loads pages very fast and isn't crashing -- I'm going to push it to the max with opening tabs this weekend and we'll see. But so far, such a relief, ff2 was frustrating me to the point where I dreaded going online!
