I've had this link saved in my favourites for a while now (ever since it was posted at the Supernatural_TV community, I think...) and stumbled across it again tonight, finally getting around to reading it.
Can I just say thank you for doing all that?! I used to try and read the journal at the site but my eyes suck as it is and would cop out pretty quickly so I eventually just gave up. But that was such an interesting read, and I suddenly have a whole new sense of sympathy for John (whom I previously ... well I wasn't a big fan, let's just say that). And that entry that talked about Dean going into Sammy's crib? Yeah, that melted my heart. The description of them meeting Missouri was so adorable too. And all John's mourning comments for Mary, aw man. There are no words.
Getting to look through the notes and stuff on articles, etc was cool too, and the disciphering (sp?!) of the runes was awesome.
