I'm still not over the anachronistic DNA analysis thing, though, which wasn't even invented until 1984, and looking for DNA traces was certainly not a standard crime scene thing then. It still makes me roll my eyes at whoever wrote and edited the website.

Oh, also. I've been squinting at #30 there. It appears that the same few paragraphs are just repeated over and over. The red circled one seems to be identical to the very first paragraph. (and just at a glance none of it appears to have any special relevance)

risking sanity... oh yes. after more than 6 solid hours on it yesterday i was feeling more than a little unhinged.


and yeah, the newspaper articles are weird - obviously some are just fillers and repeated and/or made-up... it's difficult to tell if anything is relevant at all.

then again, it's there now, so it's canon. so people can make what they like of it :D

Also, for #30 in the journal, that circled text looks like a repeat of the first paragraph. And the paragraph under it is a repeat of the first paragraph of the second column, which looks like a repeat of the third? paragraph in the first column... Basically, it looks like several paragraphs pasted over and over again to create a newspaper article of decent size :)

I'd help out with the runes, but I only know what the individual ones mean.

Like the R looking one if you carry the stone its supposed to protect a travelor, and can mean travel.

or it's Thurissomething or nother, which means destruction and such.

a kind of F looking one means fertality, I can get the actual meanings of what the individual runes mean if you want, I'll just need to quickly refresh my memory. All I did was look into it because I was going to get me some rune stones, so that's the only part I know about them, other than the history and such.



Thank you for the canon though, I gave my self tension headaches trying to read them at the site.
