Is there a site/service like Goodreads for TV watching? If not, there really really needs to be. On it you should be able to:

- Keep track of what you've watched - both entire series and up to episode numbers (as Goodreads lets you enter what page you're up to!)

- Rate & review what you've watched

- Get recommendations of what to watch based on what you've added and rated and the collections/ratings of other users

- Let you browse the site in "spoiler-free mode" - it would not show you reviews for shows you'd added beyond episode numbers you'd specified you're up to

- Have fields where you can specify if you own it on DVD or not - and, subsequently, who you've leant it to!

- Send you reminders/notices if a new episode has aired or is about to air.

imdb really doesn't cut it. I want this to exist SO HARD. Please please link me if you know anything like it anywhere

I use MyEpisodes.com to keep track of what I watch, it does the series + up to ep numbers very well. It also tells me when a new ep is incoming and is generally awesome for scheduling torrent checks, though it does not send reminders. yet. :)
But! it does not have the R&R functions that you speak of. I can see that being built on top though! Perhaps you should suggest it to them...
(It does have stuff to say if you have the DVD or not, etc! I just... don't understand some of the interface for that and don't use it).

I don't know goodreads, but it looks like a good website. A service like you described sounds awesome, but looking at myepisodes.com it just doesn't cut it for me. the interface is too ugly and not clearly laid out.
