Pomo marketing: you're doing it wrong

Last week I walked past the front window display of a costume shop. As St Patrick's Day was approaching, their male mannequin was wearing a sparkly green top hat. And a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles full body suit. As Mother's Day is approaching, the female mannequin was wearing a sash that said "World's Greatest Mum". And a French maid's outfit.

ETA: Not that French maids can't be mums (world's greatest mums, even) or turtles can't celebrate St Paddy's. Just... yeah.
