ctrl+z, dammit. ctrl+z!!
Oh, dammit. I moved a stack more fic from
hopeful_fiction to hope.oscillating.net, and was feeling all productive and accomplished, when about 15 fics in I remembered that issue where LJ recognises multiple paragraph/line breaks and Wordpress doesn't. So now where there were gaps in my stories there are none. And I've deleted from from their lj entries so I'm not even entirely sure where they *were*.
Argh.
ETA: hah-HAH. At least WP no longer does that annoying thing where it edits your html. It just doesn't render some of it. So the gaps are still in there when I edit it (just as long as it's not in rich text).
Another point for you, Wordpress.

How does it arse around... disappear them? break them? change them from one of the above to the other?
*would like to get to the root of the prob, as it sounds odd!*

it turns entire blocks of text into random italics even when I close them off and smooshes paragraphs together, if they're within the blocks of italics. It only seems to do it within longer fics, but then I may just be remembering those because it's easy to manually sort a ficlet, but 8k+ is more fiddly.
