Yeah, I have issues with The Dead Line, frankly... It's sort of one of those "not 100% part of my canon" things.

Then again, I think we've got a lot more Ianto characterisation in the past three episodes than we have in the past two seasons, so my personal fanon characterisation is just in a massive state of flux right now as I try and incorporate all this new stuff!
