Ah, so sad. I sometimes like to think that they might come out of the whole Miranda debacle with a little more security, but it seems so much more likely that people would shun them.

And if even if people didn't even if they welcomed them as people who get stuff done, being a hero doesn't exactly necessarily translate to making a living. :(

I agree with Ana, this whole concept saddens me, but it strike me as the reality they'd be facing. You wrote a lovely little window into that. I *heart* you.

Wow, this was insightful and melancholy. A nice little piece.

But ... does this mean Simon already sold his vests? Or does he get a big drama queen moment: "You can sell my books, you can sell my medical equipment, but NOBODY TOUCHES THE CLOTHES!"
