Catching up on Merlin
Episode 2.10 - Sweet Dreams.
ARGH THIS EPISODE MADE ME TEAR MY HAIR OUT. So much meanness to Gwen. So little Morgana.
I am utterly unimpressed by the gay villains.
And by the fact that Vivian's life is probably fucked up now, as she will continue to be enchanted, probably forever (as i doubt she has a "one true love" at home, or will ever be allowed to find one). And that this is treated as a gag to finish on a high note.
So frustrated by the continuing stupidity of Merlin and how none of the characters ever seem to grow, and nothing they ever do has repercussions because every episode has a "phew, it was just sorcery and it's all over now!" kill switch.
ARGH. WHY DOES THIS SHOW MAKE ME LOVE IT ONLY FOR TWO-OR-SO EPISODES A SEASON?
Will see if I can watch another tomorrow. Sigh.
