Erotica

I'm seriously thinking about penning some original porn to submit to anthologies (epublishing or hardcopy, I'm not fussy).

I've not read a lot of pro-fic porn before. Can anyone recommend books (again, ebooks welcome) to get a taster of what's good out there?

Any recommendations for where it's good to submit such things, or experience in this arena that you'd like to share, are also most welcome.

TY, flist!

May I point you to Circlet Press? And, of course, Torquere Press, who are my usual publishers. I have good things to say about working with both companies.

Good luck, I really like your stories and think the erotic lit market would be lucky to get you!

I point you towards the ERWA http://www.erotica-readers.com/ who have a great newsletter and pages upon pages for erotica/porn writers; discussion in their forums, actualized lists of calls for submission, etc.

DO it! just wander into Hares and Hyenas and check out the anthologies. That'll also give you an idea of what publishers are in the market (hard copy at least)

Torquere Press online is well worth a look too :)

Also, I need to know where your icon comes from? Every time I see that picture I just swoon a little more...

SL Publishing Group. SLPublishingGroup.com

I have 'Cethe' by Becca Abbott. They also publish by subscription online. Monthly chapters of several 'novels.'

Last I read, they were looking for authors.

I'd like to give this a go, too - I stare at the Mills and Boon books and think "bloody hell, I could do that in four days and a bottle of whisky."

I have no idea how to go about it, though - get a frou-frou pen name, maybe?

And believe me, after reading one of your fics the other day? (I was so limp afterwards I can't even remember if i commented, will check lol) you sooo have the chops. Do it!
