cupidsbow has posted a draft program for Slashcon 08 next weekend. I am attending Slashcon as the guest of honour omg! Which means I get to make people listen to my squee, basically :D

ETA: re: me talking there; I'm giving a workshoppy type thing on both podcasting and running projects that are multi-authored in general. (Pretty much all of which are noted as things-I'm-most-proud of in my fannish CV, huh.)

I'll be also giving a guest of honour speech, which I have no idea about. I can run at the mouth for hours, but should probably have more structure! It's been suggested I read a fic, and I am leaning towards a yak one, considering I've been told that that whole debacle is a key factor toward inviting me! But, any suggestions for what I could/should talk about/read?

There's also a fundraising dinner on Wednesday night (18th June) - the con is funded by a nonprofit or, the Western Australian Science Fiction Foundation, so naturally to run it some fundraising must occur. So totally come and have some nommy food and chats if you're in the vicinity and thus inclined :)

I'm going to be in Perth all of next week. Any recommendations for things to do/see?
