I mean, there's the larger ongoing struggle of conflating writing by women with autobiography, but I think also there's a certain intimacy with the author's id inferred when the writing is porn.
But then there's Capn Jack. ILU, Capn Jack. You make writing porn totally fun and a billion times more stress-free.
Also, there's this thing where everyone in Torchwood is kind of messed up, but everyone's all for the sexing, so it can result in random kink and fixations without chest-clawing self-recriminations on part of the characters (at least in my fanon).
And possibly I am growing up as a person and writer as well, and therefore feeling more comfortable about writing explicit things more freely.
Anyway. It's all very good, and I think I'm going to make use of my current word-gushage to partake in this weekend's porn battle, because now I can write again it's much easier to write on demand, which means I can communicate and connect with people through writing, which makes me feel an actual part of the fandom and able to bring some of this cultural currency to the table instead of feeling useless on the fringe.
Or something.
I GO FINISH MY WINGPORN, NOW.
FOR TOMORROW IS DOCTOR WHO DAY.
