I'm not sure how the conversation started-- actually, I think it was a particularly entertaining fanfiction.net summary, but it resulted in one of those half-bullshitting, half-storytime conversations. Which amand_r posted. And laurab1 proceeded to make fanart for. Then, of course, feeling bored and writerly and a bit inspired, I scribbled out amand_r's preferred version. So then she wrote mine.

IT'S A GIANT CIRCUS OF CORSETRY. Frankly, it's all very exhausting, and I'm ready to go back to writing nice, staid gen, now. Like the rest of my Torchwood fic.

I also want to make a SPECIAL NOTE here about the latest challenge at the flashfic_hub - idfic.

I am super-excited about this one, as it's an excuse for everyone to write a whole lot of squirmy (in the good way) button-pushing, and zomg, I may just write a million billion stories for it myself.
