Have you ever been to a site called Movielens? You might like it. You go there and rate all the movies you've seen, and it predicts how much you'll like movies you haven't seen based on the ratings of other people who share your tastes.
I love it. Sometimes I watch movies just so I can rate them on Movielens. So far I've rated 400 movies.
