just watched spider instead of finishing my photography assignment. review here.

did i mention i saw the thin red line the other day? FUCKING AMAZING.

I went to the premiere of Spider at the Toronto Film Festival in 2002--basically as a fluke, since I was free that evening and love Ralph (and had been seeing him all over the festival). God, it's marvellous, isn't it?

i think he was good in it, but i wasn't hugely impressed with the film itself! it was probably better on big screen.
