DAHFLDSHFLSD have i mentioned how IN FUCKING SANE headers and footers in word are driving me?  JESUS CHRIST. does ANYONE know how the hell they work?  I'm trying to do the 'section' thing but IT JUST ISN'T WORKING AND I'M GOING TO HAVE TO BREAK SOMETHING VERY SOON.

edit x 2: JESUS H CHRIST after spending about 4 hours creating different sections to have different headers for each story, now it's not letting me apply page numbers to the whole document. >.

I just did a test and I can get it to keep numbering whilst at the same time changing the footer for the different sections

ie,

I have a 25 page doc with chapters of The Road to Arbra, Jah and The Apprentice in it. I added page numbering, then put in sections for "Road to Arbra" and "Jah" and "Barber Frood" - then went in and manually changed the footer for each section and still retained the overall numbering. Is this what you want to do with your document? Cos it can be done.

i got bits of it to work, and some of it doesn't work... it seems completely random, still. o_O

Um... hi. I have used word and put in headers and footers and page numbers with no problem... is there anyway I can help?
