why didn't anyone tell me about this movie before? oh. ow. aside from being awesome of the awesomeness in the story/script, it is so beautifully shot and performed. HEART.

also, now i know why jump street chapel has so many posters of james dean, heh.

You'd never heard of Rebel Without A Cause? It's not my favorite Dean film (mine's East of Eden), but it's the one that strikes a chord with so many young people, perhaps because its story is still relevant to today's audiences. There will always be kids who think their parents don't understand them, but no one could play misunderstood youth like Jimmy.

Dean made only three films, and sadly, only got to see the first one released. Even 50 years after his death, he still fascinates. He is truly a Hollywood icon.
