Have you ever tried Movielens? If not, I think you might like it. It's a movie recommender system: you rate movies you've seen on a scale of 1 to 5 stars, and the system will recommend movies you haven't seen based on the ratings of other users with similar tastes. It's also a university research project on collaborative filtering, so it's free and has no ads.
