eta: you know, i just love that look river gives jayne in the ariel hospital, after simon resucitates the patient. like, hah hah, told you so. i love the way the dynamic between the three of them fluctuates, but is always full of glee. like in that moment; jayne and river like the perpetually competitive siblings and simon the long-suffering parent. or sometimes like the three of them are all siblings, who at various points gang up on the third. or like, with jayne and simon at least, the old comedy duo like laurel & hardy - both just as silly as the other, only one of them thinks he's the 'smart one'. hee.

HART.

eta again, completely unrelated: ...so, do i want to pay $20 for the australian edition of 'army of darkness', or pay a considerable amount more (considering exchange rate and shipping) for the US 'boomstick edition'?

I love the three of them so much. We just watched Trash, and the scene with "Jayne's a girls name" and "I got man parts" is so fantastic and cute and sibling-y whatever but god, the scene with Simon saying "we're on the same side, I trust you, and I will never harm you" and then river saying "also, I can kill you with my brain" and jayne all confused and conflicted and woobie.... just omg, it does wonky things to my heart.

Also that board offended me profusely, but thats what you get for clicking on a public board link. Seriously we slash Sean/Simon because he's effeminate and has soft features? What's the story with Jayne/Adam then, you feckin twats?

The extras on the Boomstick edition (and the UK edition, which i've got) are pretty worth it if you're really into it :)
