He's sort of the character you love to hate and also hate to love, only normally with most characters it's one or the other -- with Al it's both. It's sort of genius. At first I just loved to hate him. Then, all of a sudden, it whipped some hateful love out on me. That show is so great. They'd better not EVER cancel it like they cancelled Carnivale or I will have some serious bludgeons words with HBO >.>;

I was always full of woe because I was not the biggest Alma fan and thus the Great Wooby Wuv that is Bullock and Sol Star (ps they were SO REALLY GAY in real life!) got all mucked with. But then, I loved Trixie, so I was like "Well, okay, whatever."
