Sci-Fi channel is having a Firefly marathon tomorrow, 9-6.

watch it, tape it, tivo it (whatever the ruttin hell that is), see what the fuss is about. then go see serenity, and be glad you did.

No problem! I figured people needed reminding, even if they'd been watching commercials during Sci-Fi Friday. But the 9-6 thing is on Pacific Time, I think it's different in other zones - Sci Fi's schedule is here (http://scifi.com/schedulebot/index.php3?date=27-SEP-2005&feed_req=US:Pacific:E), if anyone needs to check.

TiVo is a digital video recorder. Hard disk for your TV. Program it to record what you want, far more flexible than VCRs (though still a horrid interface). I'm still trying to figure out how to burn DVDs from mine though. some people know how.

okay. so everyone is obsessed with firefly. i watched the first two episodes, found them to be enjoyable, but didn't really think much of it. ads for serenity start coming out and since you and claire are always going on about how amazing it is, i get EXTREMELY fangirly for the movie, i don't know how to explain it. at the moment, i'm downloading both episodes 3 & 4 when i should be studying for my math exam tomorrow. by god, i will have seen the whole season by friday!

i didn't get into firefly straight away, either... i watched the whole thing back when i was in baltimore over christmas, but it took a second viewing with the housemates squeeing alongside me before i fell well and truly in love.

the movie is AWESOME - go see it in the first week, k?

I saw a whole lot of that marathon. OMG, Out of Gas is the best episode ever, or so Dana thinks.
