the guy behind him is his future love, muppetbaby!simon.
just to get an idea of how LARGE adam baldwin is. I think he came out of the womb that size.
guh, um, i mean, yeah. what a surprisingly delicate profile. ah well, teenage boy, i guess.
i would show the reverse shot of this, but it is just baby!simon WET AND SHIVERING AND MOSTLY NAKED IN A LOCKER. after the reverse shot it FADES TO BLACK.

again, the size difference. and yet, adam baldwin is like, still a teenager.

but of course, it doesn't last long. a man in the park takes offense at their overabundance of hair, and challenges baby!jayne to a duel. (yep, that's joan cusack. in the background, dorks.)
Yes, I will openly state the fact that the line "why are you on your knees, you queer or something?" was used in this scene. and not by me! it was in the movie!
hairless!man also takes offence at jayne's ability to seperate whites and colours when he does laundry.

and then the bullies destroy the only thing in the world he loves. well, the other only thing. not including vera.

And then powerdvd started freezing up, and I got too tired, and that's pretty much the end of the film anyway. The moral of the story being: the world is really crap and full of death and depression; but violence will solve everything! a heartwarming family movie from the early 80s. before political correctness, lawsuits & censorship. good times.
