I'm amused also, as I mentioned about, by the evasive language used in fanfic. Not just pseudo-descriptive language, but yaknow, evasive ones. eg. "rigid heat" or "hardness". Once I read a romance novel where a vagina was called a "buttery pocket", a term which has now entered my lexicon. oh, glory.
