hope: Art of a woman writing from tour poster (like ho-yay but with more incest)

and teeming with souls shall it ever be

re-watched Boondock Saints (also known as 'Boondaint Socks') with the lovely [livejournal.com profile] mujergorda last night. I LOVE THAT MOVIE. Especially the deleted scenes, where they wrestle naked on the floor and look appraisingly at each other's manparts.

Also those scenes where these brothers with abnormal pasts decide to rid the world of evil and go about doing so with much subtext and adept handling of weapons. And then their bearded daddy, biggest badass of them all (srsly, John Winchester vs. Il Duce - who will win?), is reunited with them and together they form one giant badass incestuous vigilante vigilante evil-fighting trio.

*happy sigh*

Actually, now that I think of it:

[Poll #752573]

eta: I vote John, because sure, Il Duce must be a nasty mofo with all his shackles and trolleys and cages just to take him out of his cell, but John? Wouldn't be in a cell in the first place, yall.

(Though of course, now I have the temptation to write a story where John *does* end up in a cell, meets The Duke and makes a contact out of him before John Winchesters his was out of prison (yes, 'Winchester' is a verb now).)

I'd be tempted to write a BS/SPN crossover, only it's already been done brilliantly, in both slash and gen forms.

Though, yaknow? Vidding seems to be my thing right now. A Winchester/McManus songvid? To what song?

And when the hell is All Saints Day going to be released??

I love it that Winchester is a verb now.

... to winchester - rid the world of evil?

*g*

a) All Saints Day will never be made. I'm pretty sure about it.

b) Il Duce would win, because he's crazy, a total whacko, as you said, a nasty mofo - even Murphy thinks so *g*.

c) You HAVE to write a Winchester/MacManus crossover AND make a songvid, because it's definitely going to be just great if you do it.

d) Did you notice that one scene in Dead Man's Blood where our boys lie on their respective twin beds with John sitting on a chair at the foot of the beds, watching over them as they sleep? And now think of the last scene in BDS.

e) Random fact: Did you know that until half a year ago, I've played Murphy MacManus in a very plot-driven BDS RPG (lj comm="all_saints">, that sadly never got finished - the RPG ran for 2 years. It was slashy. And Smecker broke my other character's little thiefing heart. Still, ever since I'm hooked on May/December relationships and Sweet 'N Low.

f) What song? Hmpf. Something by Brand New? Nine Inch Nails? Dropkick Murphy's?

I've only read one crossover and it was real bad, so I didn't dare touch another one.

Naked wrestling!? Oh, I have got to get the DVD of that movie. I onlly have a VHS copy, and I know there ain't no naked wrestling. I would not have missed naked wrestling.

I voted for Il Duce. John Winchester has an unfortunate habit of...well, considering his current screentime I haven't really established habits. But in Salvation, turning on a holy water TANK when the things you're trying to destroy are NOT IN RANGE and even if they were just turning it on to DRIP SETTING is not gonna cut it.

Il Duce would've waited til Meg and random dude were right up against the pipe, then he would've blasted them.

Companion (v); Winchester (v)

About SPN, I got nothin', but I'd like to see a Lucius Malfoy/Lionel Luthor cage match.

Depends on if it's pacifist Lionel Luthor or not. And if magic's allowed.

I'd be tempted to say Lionel Luthor would've already had Malfoy poisoned before he even got in the ring.

I ::heart:: The Boondock Saints like whoa. I have a friend who feels it's his duty in life to introduce me to movies my life would be empty without, and so far, this one was the only one that not only did NOT suck but one I loved. Muchly. *happy sigh*

Oh, look, just because there are a few stories around, doesn't mean you shouldn't. I mean, I read somewhere that there are only something like 7 (or 9?) original scenarios but that doesn't stop people from writing slashfic, right? Write-write-write! *waves sparkly pom-poms around* :)
