This was almost, mmmm. Uncomfortable to read. Maybe only because I'm a little drunk myself and have been here before. Really sort of an unexpected pleasure to read. I love the ugly little realities of life; somehow they're a lot more beautiful and appealing to me to read than the sort of things that are normally more glorified - to me, this is a perfect example of that.

*nod* yeah, the more I think about it (I don't think I was thinking about it much at the time - sitting up in bed drinking beer, exhausted!), the more it reminds me of, yes, being somewhere like that myself. Ah, the comfortable numbness of binge drinking!
