doug's soft voice the most real thing in the universe right now and tom wants to line his insides with it, fill him up until his flesh is taut, limbs outspread and stuffed like a scarecrow. he closes his eyes again.

This is my favourite line in the fic. One of the best things about having watched s2 (other than *having watched series 2*) is that now I can go back and read all the fic you and claireweasley wrote that I've been womanfully resisting so as not to get spoiled. Yay!
