Are they promos as in, randomly-posed-in-the-middle-of-the-desert type shots? like those of Season 1? (See icon)

or are they like, more stills-type promotional images from the early episodes of season 2?

There should be a season 1 story in the tradition of 'Sniper' and Chuck Norris films, wherein John comes back to his boys only he's been zapped by a curse (or just hit in the head) so he believes he's still in the war, and behaves accordingly. (Constantly smoking weed, looking at Dean appraisingly, screaming about the gooks, hiding in the bushes with camo paint, talking like that Sheen in 'Platoon' ("It was right about then that I realised that maybe I shouldn't have joined the army") with a constant voice-over, etc etc.)

It could be called SuperNam Returns.
