This year in June the Western Australian Science Fiction Foundation (they have a foundation for that. AWESOME.) is holding another slash convention! (Find out apart past WASFF Slashcons here.)

The most exciting thing about it (for me, at the very least) is that I've been invited to be the "Guest of Honour"!!1zomg!

Which means I get to fly to the other side of the country (no, seriously. The other side) to talk about juicy juicy subtext, and fic, and vids and wikis and podcasts and academia and OMG!OTPs and porn AND, I'm told this is my biggest selling point: Yaks.

So, like, everyone should totally come to Perth and have fun with me, and a bunch of other slashers, in a giant slashy weekend-long sleepover. For reals.
