*snort* eris is very touchy about her hair. she seems to think it will 'hurt' like any other body part when brushed or cut. the only thing that lets anyone brush it is the threat that we'll have to cut it if it doesn't get brushed, and it isn't the pain that scares her about it, but the fact that she wants to grow it "like 'mione's"
YK's hair has gotten REALLY long, like, down to her butt, and it's dead straight like mine. EK's got her daddy's curlywavies and hers glows more slowly, so it's only mid-back or so.
How long is your hair, currently? You had it cut not too long ago, IIRC? Or was that Lisa? *hides in embarrassment* I CAN tell you guys apart, rilly.
i got mine cut not too long ago, considering that before that i hadn't had it cut for 2.5 years. i got it done in about may. lisa (loosa) got hers cut last night.
mine is an inch or so below shoulders, dead straight (so much so that i can sleep on it wet and tangled and after standing up the next morning for a few minutes it hangs out straight on its own), and wasn't *heaps* longer than that before... maybe a few more inches. it doesn't really grow very fast.
i'm at a loss as to what to do with it. i spent my time in a private high school grinding my teeth and waiting til i got out and into uni and could do something wacky with it, or just like, whatever i want with it, but now i work in the corporate/professional sector, where i can't even wear interesting nail polish. bah!
Your hair sounds just as dead straight as my hair. I once challenged my buddy in college to tie knots in my hair, as hard as he could, and I bet him that I could get all the knots out just by shaking my head.
He had to buy the beer.
but i knew i would win either way, because the point was to sit in his lap for a while and have him play with my hair and then go out for beer together.
