i got mine cut not too long ago, considering that before that i hadn't had it cut for 2.5 years. i got it done in about may. lisa (loosa) got hers cut last night.
mine is an inch or so below shoulders, dead straight (so much so that i can sleep on it wet and tangled and after standing up the next morning for a few minutes it hangs out straight on its own), and wasn't *heaps* longer than that before... maybe a few more inches. it doesn't really grow very fast.
i'm at a loss as to what to do with it. i spent my time in a private high school grinding my teeth and waiting til i got out and into uni and could do something wacky with it, or just like, whatever i want with it, but now i work in the corporate/professional sector, where i can't even wear interesting nail polish. bah!
Your hair sounds just as dead straight as my hair. I once challenged my buddy in college to tie knots in my hair, as hard as he could, and I bet him that I could get all the knots out just by shaking my head.
He had to buy the beer.
but i knew i would win either way, because the point was to sit in his lap for a while and have him play with my hair and then go out for beer together.
