um. might be falling in love lust with johnny depp. just a wee bit. like, when he's in drag. or an undercover cop pretending to be a high school student who gets worked up about car insurance and gets gratuitously gagged when dressed like a very sweaty, sub-ish harry potter.

Unnh...Johnny is sex on legs. I was a hugehuge mega fan --- well, still am except the obsession has been eclipsed by obsession for someone...else. But I still adore Johnny. I think I've seen just about every movie he's made, there might be one really obscure one I haven't been able to lay hands on. The one thing I HAVEN'T seen is 21 Jump Street! I didn't know he existed when the show first came on, my first encounter with him was Edward Scissorhands. He really hated 21 Jump Street, though. He always referred to it as "that show". Which is not to say I wouldn't love to see it if I ever got the chance.

I have to say, for me Johnny Depp is defined by the Tim Burton triumvirate "Edward Scissorhands", "Ed Wood" and "Sleepy Hollow". I adore all three in different ways. If you haven't seen Ed Wood, in particular, you must! Not for Johnny Depp although he's great in it, but for the movie itself. I think it's sheer genious and so funny and sad and just off the wall. And I love movies about making movies.

I used to watch 21 Jump Street when I was a kid, but my object of lust was Westley from The Princess Bride. Then Kevin Costner, then MacGyver.

But now when I'm watching Platoon, I am sexually attracted to half the cast, and when Johnny flits by on screen I get totally distracted and then people are getting blown up and I feel cheap and dirty getting a hard-on during a war movie.
