Um. I can't actually use my brain to think of where the Firefly kids would fit in elsewhere. I'm going to think about it some more though, because it's a neat idea.

But, as i'm sure i've raved before, I can totally see Army-of Darkness-era Ash turning up in the future aboard Serenity; and some kind of shenanigans involving Captain Mal + Han Solo. HEE.

I'm not entirely sure how i feel about Mal/Han... they are too alike, it would be to incestuous. Mal/Inara and Han/Leia are TOTALLY similar, har.

I keep on going to make Mal icons, then I can't choose a picture. I want to take a scan from the comics to use, but my scanners aren't working. might have to hijack mary's so's i can get on with it :D

There would SO be Muldercest. And then fox1013 and I talked about it, and she did a poll, and people found the idea of Mulder/River more disturbing than Simon/River. Which meant that it really did HAVE to be written, you know.

Mmm...crossovers!

Firefly/Deadwood - This is something I really really want to see EVERYWHERE. The general Western-ish atmosphere of a lot of border planets already reflects general Deadwood attitudes; It really wouldn't be too much of a stretch to have the crew broken down for repairs on some backwater and ....CROSSOVER DeLight! Oh, the potential for hostility and imminent violence! *wants*

Firefly/Stargate - (apart from time-line of course). Use the gate system to hop SG-1 to some dusty FF moon.

Firefly/Battlestar Galactica - perfect because you don't even need to adjust the timeline. Just have the BSG people finally find other humans...only to discover that Earth no longer exists. 0_o Besides, I'd really love to see some Book/Roslin. *toes curl* Not to mention the OMG awesome that could be Reavers/Cylons!

Firefly/Star Trek TNG - Wasn't Q always messing with the Next Generation crew because he had a thing for Picard? Just think of the possibilities if you'd have TNG people land in an AU where Earth self-destructed and First Contact was never made. Mmm...pretty!

all i got is that the whole river situation strongly reminds me of the premise behind the tv show the pretender (http://imdb.com/title/tt0115320/). and the main guy from that show very vaguely reminds me of simon. eh? ehhh? i don't know.

yes, i remember that show. it kinda bombed here, was shown at 3 o'clock in the afternoon between the soapies and the talkshows. it was kinda funny :D
