DEAR DIARY,
Today I decided to go with a New Look, and unbutton my shiny vest.
This caused unexpected difficulties, as Shepherd Book attempted to touch me inappropriately.
After throwing up in my mouth a little, I gave Jayne the emergency signals we'd arranged in case such an occassion arose.
Jayne leapt into action in response, suggesting to the rest of the crew that he 'get nekkid', and subsequently banishing any thought any of them might have had of ravishing me, due to the unresistable lure of my open vest. Perhaps somewhat unfortunately, Jayne's interest was from that point on piqued, and it was only the return of Inara and the captain that ceased the machinations of Jayne's plan that I 'get nekkid' on the pretext of a diversion.
Crisis averted (at least until a more appropriate time and/or place, which may or may not have been arranged with Jayne via further signals, also previously arranged).
