hehe. i came home early to work on my faculty vid, then couldn't get the files to work. so i opened a word doc, and yea verily, fic poured forth.

title is a bit of an in-joke (and i couldn't think of anything better) - claire and mary and I have a joke where we believe that if tom & doug of 21 jump street fame had an argument, tom would put up "POLICE LINE - DO NOT CROSS" tape around the bed and make doug sleep on the couch for a while. Upon seeing the end of 'Trash', we decided that simon's speech to jayne was essentially "DOCTOR LINE - DO NOT CROSS". so, uh, yeah.

I haven't read much Firefly fic (basically this one and Claire's last) but you and Claire do a good job of it.

I want you to write the Police Line fic too. Haha. Any word on Season Three over there? It is seriously the best angsty shit ever. You need to watch it. I need you to watch it so you can write fic on it.
