I bought the serenity novelisation and i have to say, it is truly a thing of great, great beauty.
I am going to now make a point of sharing the beauty of it, by posting exerpts here. I'll warn you if they're spoilery, but a lot of the first third of the book is just re-hashing the tv series. Here's today's selection:

Also a thing of great beauty is Jump Street season 3. I want to rip Booker's face off. Doug has turned into the staypuft man. Johnny Depp refused to wash.

Dr. Simon Tam pounced on the letter from his sister like a hungry man attacking a meal.
At least, Simon assumed it was the same. Having grown up in one of the wealthier families in the Alliance, and having even at his young age carved out at impressive career as a physician, he had never known hunger. He knew the concept only from textbooks he'd read.

novelisations are also good for seeing what was in the script before final movie edits :D
but yes, like i said - I am getting much enjoyment from this book. i think it has been many, many years since i read a movie novelisation, too.
